A diehard Redskins fan here.   Heartbroken...speechless....let it be known however, I am not a fair weather fan.  I love my team.  Im there every week to watch them compete.   I have faith that hopefully we can come out of the Bye week with something to prove.

Oh and sorry, I hope you don't mind a non-Skins fan posting here. I saw you cheer for the Texans on the side and I thought I should chip in.

Cheers!

Hey Samoa! Nice to see more international flavour on here!

I'm Canadian (born, raised, and still here!) I'm primarily a fan of the Houston Texans. I also find myself rooting for the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys (I don't hate the 'Skins, just so you know Wink ).

I used to love the Houston Oilers coz of Warren Moon, a young Eddie George and others, but when they moved, I started to follow the Titans but I wasn't as enthusiastic. When Houston got a new team, I was all over it.

I also follow the Houston Astros, U of Houston Cougars (All sports), Houston Rockets, Dallas Stars, and Texas Longhorns (All sports). I also have a select list of college FB & BBALL teams I enjoy watching, like UCLA).

If you're wondering why I follow an Texas football team, it's coz I've been a North Stars/Stars fan for many years and it seemed natural to follow suit with other Texas teams.

My screen name is also "international". It stands for Australia (AU), Canada (CA), South Africa (ZA). To keep it short, I chose that name because those are the citizenships of my "girl that got away" (born & raised South African, moved to Canada where we met, and then moved to Australia). It's a reminder to me to never take anyone for granted, especially the women in my life.

Anyways, thanks for reading!

Good luck to the 'Skins next year!

Cheers!

Life long fan of the Skins, I don't live outside the U.S., but I do live in Southern California, does that count? I actually went to the last Rams game here in Socal, we won 24-21. I remember because Skins fans out numbered Rams fans, at least 3 to 1, the stadium was more than half empty, and it was Christmas Eve, 1996. The funny thing is, after the Rams one the Super Bowl, everybody in Socal was a Rams fan!

TheDiesel (#44).

Great Screen name. There are 2 names I would consider using as screen names, Monk or Riggins. Maybe next time. Landry was a controversial pick for some fans last year but right from training camp he proved that he was the real thing and he is a keeper. Barring any career ending injury, he will play ball here for a long time. Cheers mate.

Heya Samoa and Mullimoon, I dont really qualify as an international fan but I use to live outside the us when my father was in the military.  Anyway the upcoming season is starting to shape up and the future looks alot brighter then it did a few weeks ago.  Samoa LaRon Landry is definitely a beast, I like the way he plays with so much passion.  LaRon will be a great player for alot of years to come so you will be able to wear the #30 jersey proudly.

Going to the HoF ceremony and game would be AWESOME. That would be a meomrable day for all redskin fans. Monk and Green in the HoF. Man I envy you... hehehe lucky fella. I'm holding out for an IMF course in Washinton DC I can attend so I can get the opportunity to see the Redskins in action and buy a Landry (30) jersey. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Like you said, who knows? Great talking to you.

Hey SamoaSkinz, he said he would like to be considered as international, since he was a navy guy in the Persian Gulf during the first Gulf War!  I thought that qualified him.  I think the right mix on offense, with a decent OC may get the Redskins to a good place this year.  We can only hope.  As for the HoF game, I want to try to get to the States, do the ceremony and the game.  I think the Redskins are going to offer package deals.  That would be awesome!  Gotta talk the wife into that deal though.  Who knows?

WTH  Hey PHskin, what happened to your post? I thought the admin couldn't delete a post here on blog space, only the author. Sorry I didn't get to read it but on the new HC, I am willing to give Zorn a shot. I was hoping he would personally tutor JC on the WCO but now that he is the HC he won't have the time. JC is the centre piece if this offense and it would do us no good if we get all a great wr and linemen we need and JC struggles in our new offense. I hope Zorn can spark this offense and can get the players fired up and continue our late run momentum into the next season. Also, its great we play in the HoF game cause we need all the gametime we can get to test our new offense before the season starts.
